Transgender Certification Program
Hello Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful summer!
I just returned from the WPATH conference (World Professional Association for Transgender Health). The Standards of Care for the provision of services for individuals dealing with gender identity disorder or gender non-conformity has been revised to reflect some conceptual changes. There was also a lot of information regarding transgender children. This conference has renewed my desire to begin a transgender certification program, which will be the first of its kind. This certification will enable clinicians to be seen as experts in this field and to be part of a database that will portray them as such. Included in this program will be a module on providing services through telephone and internet. As with the standard STTI program, classes will be available by video conferencing so students may attend from anywhere in the world.

Live Video Conferencing!
All STTI classes are offered on Saturday from 9:30 to 2:30. Supervision follows each class. If you live in South Florida, you may attend in person. If you live elsewhere, all you need to do is click your mouse and you will see the presenter, the other students, the power points and the videos all on your computer screen. You will be able to participate in discussions and case presentations.
